What is a Tactical Flashlight?

A tactical flashlight is simply a flashlight that’s been designed for tactical (i.e. military or police) use. They’re typically smaller than traditional flashlights, emit much more light, and are made of weapon-grade aluminum for maximum durability. While tactical flashlights are designed primarily for military and police units, they’re also a really handy everyday and personal defense tool for the average civilian.

What will be taught?
Participants will learn how to develop greater "Situational Awareness". That is, how to be more aware of your surroundings and identify potential danger before there is a problem. Participants will also learn how to use the light deter someone from approaching them and lessening the opportunity for an attack. Lastly, participants will learn how to defend themselves using the light as a distraction while striking at a distance, and if need be, how to use the flashlight itself as a close quarters impact weapon to fight off an attacker.
